(XAM) to launch its real-time quality assurance solution, AMiRIS, in the Japanese market. Through this agreement, Additive Assurance aims to resolve quality assurance and mass production challenges in the Japanese metal powder bed fusion market by leveraging XAM’s well established technical capabilities.

In recent years, the adoption of metal 3D printers has expanded across the aerospace, automotive, and medical device fields, shifting from prototyping to mass production. However, mass production presents several challenges, including variations in build quality, difficulties in quality assurance processes, and Difficulties in securing traceability.
