(27 April 2026, Karlsruhe, Germany) Horizon Microtechnologies has been selected as a Finalist in the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge – Aerospace track, earning the opportunity to pitch for the €100K Grand Prize on the Pioneers Stage at the Hello Tomorrow Summit (11–12 June 2026, Amsterdam), with Investor Day taking place on 10 June.
Hello Tomorrow is widely regarded as one of the world’s most influential deep-tech ecosystems, convening thousands of stakeholders and a large investor community around a curated set of breakthrough technologies. As a finalist, Horizon will present its technology to a jury and an audience spanning investors, corporates and industry experts.
Horizon’s core proposition addresses a high-value bottleneck in aerospace hardware, how to deliver miniaturised, lightweight, high-performance components in a highly reliable package. The company combines high-precision micro additive manufacturing with proprietary metallisation and protective coating know-how to create functional components for RF and aerospace applications, enabling substantial weight reduction and geometric freedom compared with conventional metallic manufacturing.
“Being selected as a Hello Tomorrow finalist is more than recognition, it’s validation that our technology is continuing to cross the threshold from promising to validated and investable,” says Andreas Frölich, CEO of Horizon Microtechnologies. “We’ve spent the last months turning our space proposition into a proof-backed story, building qualification evidence, converting interest into concrete traction, and shaping a clear plan for scale. Amsterdam is an opportunity to accelerate that journey with the right partners and investors.”
The announcement also coincides with a period of increased visibility for Horizon across the European deep-tech startup ecosystem, including upcoming accelerator interactions and industry events where the company is actively engaging potential partners and investors.

Frölich adds, “Deep tech doesn’t win on claims, it wins on evidence, delivery, and timing. Space is booming, the need for European capability is rising, and lightweighting is a real lever in mission economics. Our goal now is to scale what’s working, translating proven performance into broader commercial adoption through partnerships, industrialisation, and repeatable production delivery.”
Horizon will share further updates ahead of the Summit as the event approaches.
