Solid Sands, the leader in C and C++ compiler and library qualification solutions, and its partner BUGSENG, a specialist in automated software verification, today announced the successful completion of a library qualification project for MDA Space, a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry.
This qualification supports MDA Space on the design of MDA SKYMAKER™. The team continues to execute as planned toward final designs for the advanced robotic arm system.
The collaboration combined Solid Sands’ expertise in software library qualification and test suite technology with BUGSENG’s advanced static analysis capabilities and MISRA compliance expertise. The resulting integrated solution provides MDA Space with rigorous qualification verification for its mission-critical software.
Focused on the demanding requirements of space applications, the project delivered comprehensive verification, detailed evidence, and traceability documentation to support the customer’s strict software assurance activities. By combining complementary technologies, the project achieved a qualified software library baseline that strengthens deployment confidence.
