This hands-on practical session gives each attendee their own test piece which mirrors real-world scenarios, equipping you to handle similar tasks in a professional setting.
- Watch detailed demonstrations of various polishing systems and tools before trying them yourself. Our expert instructors will guide you through every step, providing clear explanations and personalised support.
- Work with top-tier equipment, including tools from Gesswein and NSK Nakanishi, to develop efficient and consistent polishing techniques that you can immediately apply in your workplace.
The Lapping course is designed for professionals looking to refine their skills and deepen their expertise. These courses offer a blend of theory and hands-on experience to deliver practical, real-world results.
Training is available at our state-of-the-art Technical Centre or directly at your site, providing flexibility to suit your operational needs. With small class sizes of up to 8 participants, attendees benefit from tailored instruction and focused attention to their specific challenges and objectives. The course includes:
- Interpreting surface finish and flatness specifications from technical drawings
- Machine setup and operation
- Workholding, cleaning methods, and surface quality measurement
Each session is designed to combine theory with significant practical application, ensuring participants leave with the confidence to apply their new knowledge in their daily work.
Upon successful completion of either course, attendees will receive a certificate to validate their newly acquired skills.
