The jar featured a distinctive oval profile with an integrated thumb-grip design, creating a more complex handling requirement than a standard round container. This made the project technically challenging, as the container needed to be accurately controlled through the line to support smooth transfer, positioning and capping.
For this project, Dacecrown designed and manufactured the complete set of change parts in-house, including: Star wheels, back guides and scroll.
By managing both the design and production internally, Dacecrown was able to control the quality, accuracy and suitability of each component throughout the process.
As with all Dacecrown change part work, the focus was on precision, reliability and long-term production performance. We use high-quality materials selected to suit the application, helping ensure the parts are durable, accurate and capable of performing in demanding production environments.

This project was not simply about producing parts to shape. It required an understanding of how the container would behave through the line, how it needed to be guided, and how each change part would support the customer’s capping process.
The completed parts were supplied successfully, giving the customer a working solution for a bespoke container format that would be difficult for many companies to support.

The result was a successful project and a happy customer.
