The FocusX is designed to be used in manufacturing environments and is robustly designed and constructed to overcome local vibrations, differing temperatures and lighting conditions. To overcome this Bruker Alicona have released a shopfloor housing that will allow the system to be placed right in the heart of every shopfloor and production area. The design of the FocusX already provides protection against external vibrations and it can be used in a range of stable temperatures. The main purpose of the cabinet is to control environmental conditions to ensure accurate and traceable measurements are maintained that could be influenced by dust, humidity and wide temperature variation. A positive pressure is maintained assuring there is no ingress of dust and particles and all of the controls and user interface are external to the cabinet.
