Showcasing the latest AM solutions for the drone market

~ Tri-Tech 3D to highlight the power of innovative 3D composite printers for unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing at DroneX 2024 ~

UK provider of Stratasys 3D printers, Tri-Tech 3D will exhibit at this year’s DroneX trade show on stand G44, which will take place at the ExCel, London, on September 24 to 25. The company will showcase how 3D printing materials and machines are revolutionising the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector and allowing the efficient production of innovative new drone systems. Visitors can register for a free ticket to attend DroneX here.

DroneX is Europe’s largest trade show dedicated to the UAV sector, making it the perfect event for Tri-Tech 3D to share knowledge on the synergy between developments in additive manufacturing (AM) technology and drone manufacturing. For example, AM technology is playing a critical role in the industry’s growth in recent years as it is improving the efficiency of drone manufacturing while reducing costs. Ultimately, this is facilitating the development of innovative new UAV systems.

On its stand, the Tri-Tech 3D team will showcase innovative additive manufacturing solutions such as the Stratasys F370CR that is an ideal solution for drone builds requiring lightweight, strong and durable parts.

The F370CR composite printer is built on the same platform as the industry-proven F123 Series, with a verified 99 per cent uptime and a 99 per cent dimensional repeatability performance. Print parameters are optimised using over 220 measurements to facilitate material tuning, ensuring consistent material performance across all resolutions and successful print results.

“3D printing solutions allow drone manufacturers to produce the lightweight, high-strength components needed to optimise flight efficiency and payload capacity,” explained Robert Pitts, sales manager at Tri-Tech 3D. “The F370CR is a user-friendly high-strength composite 3D printer that is ideal for use in UAV applications as it is well suited to producing large and complex parts with a high degree of repeatability.”

Tri-Tech 3D’s team is experienced in deploying specialised AM solutions across key industrial sectors, including automotive, aerospace and manufacturing, making it well placed to understand each customer’s unique requirements and advise the most appropriate solution.
