Industrial technology company Watlow, which specialises in electric thermal systems, will present a keynote speech at the Connecting Green Hydrogen Conference and Exhibition at IFEMA Madrid, Spain, taking place on June 25 – June 27, 2024. At the show, a representative from Watlow will discuss how to improve hydrogen production through electric thermal solutions.
Connecting Green Hydrogen Europe is recognised as the largest and most influential Green Hydrogen event in the industry, attracting over 5,000 industry leaders, energy ministers, CEOs, as well as over 100 exhibitors. The conference explores the latest innovations, cutting-edge technologies and significant progress that is driving the evolution of the hydrogen sector.
Watlow, a designer and manufacturer of electric heaters, temperature and power controls, sensors and integrated thermal solutions, will be present at the show to deliver its keynote speech. On June 27 at 12pm CEST during the H2 Innovate Next Summit, director of OEM business segment, Scott Feiste, will discuss how electric thermal solutions can transform hydrogen production. Hydrogen is an important chemical feedstock for a variety of industries working to decrease their carbon footprints, and this is where Watlow plays a big role in providing the appropriate thermal equipment for producing green hydrogen.
“As a company at the forefront of heating technology, our solutions are helping to drive the global transition to a low-carbon economy,” said Feiste. “As the demand for clean, renewable energy sources continues to grow, Watlow is working to continuously develop sustainable solutions that help to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change.
“Companies exploring hydrogen have been taking bold steps to reduce their carbon footprint. Generally, the strategy is to tackle carbon emissions not only through alternative energy investment and increased efficiency, but also through converting key industrial processes like fuel-fired process heating to electric. Being a part of the Connecting Green Hydrogen Conference offers us the opportunity to share our vision for a more sustainable energy landscape, and how electrified heating solutions are key to driving this shift.”
