CWM Automation

Based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, CWM Automation is an established manufacturer of automated filling, end of line and bespoke machinery. CWM has spent over 15 years designing and building automated equipment for a wide range of industries, including dairy, desserts, soups, beverages, bakery and household goods.

CWM was acquired by the Hexadex Group in 2018. The financial and organisational strength of the Hexadex Group, together with its broad base of manufacturing expertise and geographic spread, has allowed CWM to further develop new products and markets while servicing its existing loyal customer base.

Following the acquisition, CWM has relocated to a newly refurbished 36,500 sq./ft factory, which boasts enhanced facilities and allows them to accommodate more projects to meet ambitious growth targets.

Robot Test Cell Facility

CWM has recently announced their brand new robot test cell facility at their Gainsborough site, which will allow customers from different industries to see proof of concept for all of their pick and place solutions.

CWM’s cutting-edge test cell consists of an Autonox Delta Robot and a Soft Robotics mGrip modular gripping system. This allows for reliable, high-speed picking of traditionally hard-to-grasp items, which in turn, leads to increased throughput and overall efficiency.

Throughout their 15 years of operation, CWM has gained the necessary experience and knowledge to provide customers with bespoke solutions, including multi-robot systems. CWM works closely with customers to develop equipment that meets their exact production requirements, with support provided at each stage of the project by their team of dedicated project engineers.
